Terms
Terms and cancellation
The terms that apply when you book a Foxchaser experience. Written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book.
Version dated 4 July 2026 (reference 2026-07-05). The version you accept at booking is stored with your booking.
1. Who we are
Foxchaser is run by Foxchaser Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17138404. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at hello@foxchaser.co.uk.
These terms, together with the details on the experience page you book from, form the contract between you and Foxchaser Ltd when you make a booking.
2. What Foxchaser does
Foxchaser curates real-world experiences for teenagers and takes your booking and payment. Each experience is delivered by the specialist provider or venue named on its page, for example a foraging provider or an airport visitor park. The provider is responsible for delivering the experience safely and professionally on the day; Foxchaser is responsible for the booking, payment, and everything we tell you before and after it.
3. Who can book
- You must be 18 or over to make a booking.
- You must be the parent or carer of each teenager on the booking, or have the clear agreement of their parent or carer to book for them, share the information we ask for, and agree to these terms on their behalf.
- Experiences are built for ages 10 to 18. Ages are asked at booking so the provider can pitch the session properly.
4. The responsible adult
Every booking includes at least one responsible adult who comes along and stays for the whole session. This is a condition of taking part, not a suggestion: the adult remains responsible for supervising their teenagers throughout, including any friends they bring. Foxchaser experiences are not drop-off sessions, and providers and venues do not take over supervision of your teenagers.
- One adult can bring up to four teenagers, including friends.
- One reduced-rate adult place is available for each teen place.
- Extra adults are charged at the full place price, and only where space allows.
- If the responsible adult leaves during a session, their teenagers cannot stay without them.
5. Booking and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on each experience page: a teen place at full price, one reduced-rate adult place per teen place, and extra adult places at the full place price.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking and handled securely by Stripe. Foxchaser never sees your card details.
- Your booking is confirmed when we email your booking confirmation. If a payment completes but the places have gone, we refund it in full.
- Places are limited and real: when a session is full, it is full. Selected places are held for you while you check out.
6. If you need to cancel
Each experience has its own cancellation terms, agreed with the provider or venue that runs it. They are shown on the experience page before you book, and they are set out here. A move to another date means another date of the same experience, subject to space.
Because every experience runs on a fixed date, the usual 14-day online cooling-off period does not apply to these bookings; the law treats leisure activities on a specific date as an exception. The terms below are what applies.
Foraging: Secrets of the British Wood
- Cancel 7 days or more before the session: a full refund, or a free move to another date of the same experience. Your choice.
- Cancel less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before: your places move to another date of the same experience. No refund at this point, because the groups are small and a late gap is hard to fill.
- Cancel less than 48 hours before, or not attend on the day: the places cannot be refunded or moved.
- If we or the provider cancel the session, for example for unsafe weather or too few bookings: a full refund, or a free move to another date. Always.
Off-Grid: Surviving Without Anything
- Cancel 7 days or more before the session: a full refund, or a free move to another date of the same experience. Your choice.

Supersonic: inside Concorde
- Cancel 14 days or more before the experience: a full refund.
- Cancel less than 14 days before, or not attend on the day: the places cannot be refunded, because the venue charges Foxchaser in full at that point.
- If we or the venue cancel the experience: a full refund. Always.
To cancel or ask about moving a booking, email hello@foxchaser.co.uk with your booking reference. The timings above run from when your email reaches us.
7. If we cancel or change a session
- Sometimes a session cannot run: unsafe weather, provider illness, a venue issue, or too few bookings for a session that needs a minimum group. If that happens, we tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
- Where we, the provider or the venue cancel, you always get the choice of a full refund or a free move to another date of the same experience.
- Outdoor experiences run in normal British weather and are only called off for genuine safety, with as much notice as the forecast allows.
- We are not able to cover travel, accommodation or other costs you arrange around an experience, so please book those with the possibility of a date change in mind.
8. Health, allergies and additional needs
At booking we ask about anything that matters for safe participation: allergies, medical conditions and additional needs. Please answer fully and keep us updated if anything changes before the day; the provider plans the session around what you tell us. With your consent, we share the relevant information with the provider so they can support your teenager on the day.
If something you tell us means an experience cannot be run safely for a participant, we will talk to you before the day rather than turn anyone away on it. If you are unsure whether an experience will work for your teenager, ask us before booking and we will find out.
9. Photos and videos
Photo choices are yours and optional, made at booking and changeable any time by emailing us. They never affect your booking. Some venues have their own rules, for example no audio or video recording of a guided presentation; these are shown on the experience page.
10. Safety and conduct on the day
- Participants and adults follow the provider's safety briefing, written rules and reasonable instructions throughout the session.
- Providers can end a participant's session early if their behaviour puts safety, the group or the venue at risk. Where that happens no refund is due for that booking.
- In an emergency, you agree that we or the provider may seek medical assistance for a participant and share relevant information with the emergency services.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Each of Foxchaser and the provider is responsible for what it controls: Foxchaser for the booking, payment and the information we give you; the provider for the safe and professional delivery of the experience. We choose providers carefully and confirm insurance, risk assessments and delivery standards before an experience goes on sale. We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of something we did wrong, or for costs described in section 7.
12. If something goes wrong
Tell us. Email hello@foxchaser.co.uk with your booking reference and what happened, and we will reply within five working days. Issues on the day should also be raised with the provider or venue team at the time, so they can put things right there and then. Where a complaint involves the provider, we coordinate the response with them and keep you informed.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when a new experience or provider joins. The version you accepted at booking is the one that applies to that booking, and it is stored with your booking record. If a change materially affects an existing booking, we email you about it.
14. The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. How we handle personal data, including your teenager's, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
