Who we are

Foxchaser is a curated marketplace of real-world learning experiences for children and teenagers aged 10 to 18. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.

The data controller is FOXCHASER LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17138404), with a registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

You can contact us at anna@foxchaser.co.uk.

What this policy covers

At the moment, Foxchaser is in a pre-launch phase. This policy covers our current activities, which are limited to the foxchaser.co.uk website and our email list. We will update this policy when bookings open ahead of our launch on 3 July 2026, to cover booking data, payment processing, and provider arrangements.

What information we collect

We collect different kinds of information depending on how you interact with us.

If you sign up to our email list, we collect your email address and the date you signed up. If you choose to share it, we may also collect your first name.

If you visit foxchaser.co.uk, our analytics tool records anonymous information about your visit, including the page you viewed, the country you visited from, the type of device you used, and how you arrived at the site. This information cannot be used to identify you.

If you contact us by email, we receive whatever information you choose to share, including your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. Foxchaser is a service marketed to parents and carers who book on behalf of children and teenagers aged 10 to 18.

Why we collect this information, and our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal data. Ours are as follows.

For email list sign ups, we rely on your consent. You give consent by signing up on our website and confirming your sign up through the email we send you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us directly.

For website analytics, we rely on legitimate interests. We need to understand how our website is being found and used in order to improve it. Because our analytics tool does not use cookies and does not collect personal data, this processing does not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

For email correspondence, we rely on legitimate interests in responding to messages you have sent us.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

We use a small number of third-party tools to operate our website and email list. These providers process data on our behalf, under written contracts that meet UK GDPR standards.

  • Framer Inc. hosts the foxchaser.co.uk website.
  • Intuit Mailchimp manages our email list and sends our newsletters.
  • Plausible Analytics provides cookieless website analytics. Plausible processes data only within the European Union.
  • Google Workspace provides our business email (anna@foxchaser.co.uk).

We may also disclose personal data if we are required to do so by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as we need it.

Email list data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed, plus up to two years after your last engagement with one of our emails. If you have not opened or clicked an email for two years, we will remove you from the list.

Website analytics data is held by Plausible in aggregate form and is not linked to any individual.

Email correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is relevant, and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have a number of rights over your personal data.

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to correct any inaccurate information.
  • The right to ask us to delete your personal data.
  • The right to ask us to restrict how we use your personal data.
  • The right to ask us to transfer your personal data to another service.
  • The right to object to our processing of your personal data.
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time, where we are relying on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at anna@foxchaser.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. The ICO website is ico.org.uk and you can contact them on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking individuals across the web.

Our website uses a small number of technical cookies that are necessary for the site to function correctly. These are set by Framer, our hosting provider.

Our analytics tool, Plausible, does not use cookies and does not store any personal data.

Children and young people

Foxchaser is a service for parents and carers booking experiences for children and teenagers aged 10 to 18. We are committed to the principles of the Information Commissioner's Office Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code).

Once we open bookings, our experiences will only be booked by an adult parent or carer. We will update this policy at that point to cover any information collected about children in connection with a booking.

If you are under 18 and have a question about how we use your data, please ask a parent or carer to contact us on your behalf.

International data transfers

Most of our processors are based in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy from time to time, in particular when we open bookings ahead of our launch on 3 July 2026. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.

If we make any significant changes, we will let you know by email if you are on our list.
