About this experience
Walk out with a photograph of a galaxy, taken by you.
Your teen does not just look up. They use real instruments to capture something far beyond ordinary sight.
A real image made from real light, and a better sense of what astronomers actually do.
What you will do
Space, cameras, telescopes, light, physics and the thought that the sky can be worked with.
You use research-grade telescopes to capture your own image of something millions of light years away.
You process it yourself and walk out with the photograph.
Who runs this
A working observatory or astronomy provider with research-grade optical telescopes.
